I've looked at these same photos over and over again. But I never get tired of it. This is what it's all about. I am here for the kids. There is a statistic that of the children not going to school (58% of the kids) 70% of those kids will have HIV by the time they are 15, and only 1 in 10 will make it to the age of 30. These are my kids. These are the kids that we are trying to keep alive. The secular organizations came in to try and ‘fix' the problem of AIDS/HIV, to see the statistics drop. But the statistics haven't dropped. Things haven't changed. I asked the main Gogo (Grandmother) Elisabeth what these children need, and she didn't tell me food or an education. She told me, ‘these kids need Jesus.' And that's the truth. That is the only thing that is going to give these children a chance to live past the age of 10! So I keep watching the photos. I let them soak into my soul. This is why I came to Swaziland. Why I came to Africa. It's so that I can love these children the way that Jesus would. To hold them in my arms and let them know that everything is going to be alright. That they are safe. And most importantly that they matter, they are not forgotten, but that they are precious.   By Casey Wells, Swazi
